Grand Opening!!

On Wednesday 12th March 2008 we celebrated the ‘Grand Opening’ of the C.O.C. & Haven Foundations. The Muang Chiang Mai District Governor, Sakchai Chor-palit, was present.

As you can see from the slide-show many people attended from different missions, churches and organisations.

We thank God for His Faithfulness.

Contract Handover

On Sunday morning the 16th of December the whole congregation celebrated the handover of the land and building deeds from our hardworking Thai lawyer ‘Joe’ Thanakorn Viwatronakit from Thanarat law office to Pastor Jonathan and team. A great milestone in the history of the work God has in store for this city of Chiang Mai and the Thai nation.

The 12th of December

Today is the BIG DAY and the final building payment is due.

God has provided the Funds and people to make it all possible in time! A miracle you might say and you would be right indeed, so we give Praise and Thanks to God for the vision and completion for this step of the movement here in Thailand.

We firmly believe that we are heading into the right direction of reaching out to the lost and being towers of light to the people that are seeking the truth in this nation and God will provide the tools needed to make it possible.

Years of Change

The COC Thailand Head Office Building in Chiang Mai was purchased by faith and the contract was signed on the 12th of December 2005, the moving in began in February 2006.

The last two years has seen many changes and transformations within the team here as everyone has given a 100% to make the vision into a reality. Many new faithful servants have joined up to expand the reach and impact of God’s movement within the Thai nation.
Development and Progress is also apparent inside and outside the building, where construction work has been done by a dedicated team creating a ‘House of Praise’ auditorium, a second children’s auditorium for Sunday school, offices for the pastoral, administration, accounting, graphics departments and cafeteria. There also is a Pastor, Leader & Children’s Homes Staff training base and Language studies.

The financial report for the building and legal costs are:

Total needed 18 million baht (approximately US 550.000 $ )

12.7 million baht have been received so far Praise God !

29/11/07 8.3 million baht are still needed by the 12th of December 2007

01/12/07 5.6 million baht are still needed by the 12th of December 2007

12/12/07 5.6 million baht have been donated ready to go and sign the contract HALLELUJAH !
