The escalating crisis in Myanmar has tragically displaced thousands of vulnerable families, forcing them to seek refuge in IDP camps in Thailand. These Burmese refugees—many of them children—are in desperate need of essential aid, including food, shelter, and healthcare.

 

The Christian Outreach Centre Foundation (COC) is leading the response through our flagship Safe Haven Project. We are issuing an urgent Call for Partnership and Collaboration to help us reach our goal: providing life-saving support to 1,000 Burmese refugee families living in Internally Displaced People (IDP) communities along the border.

COC in Action: Delivering Essential Relief in Mae Sot

In a recent demonstration of our commitment, volunteers from the Christian Outreach Centre Foundation (COC) successfully executed a critical relief mission for Burmese refugees in Mae Sot.

 

Our team delivered vital relief distribution for Burmese refugees war-affected, including rice, canned goods, noodles, milk, and blankets. This humanitarian food aid distribution Mae Sot reached refugee families and children living in the IDP community, the Mae Sot dump site charity villages, and the Faith House children’s shelter. The mission provided both vital physical relief and much-needed spiritual and emotional support.
